    Today we visited Staglands.

Wonderful place .BUT. Going across the smallish bridge where the turtles are, my daughter was bitten/ semi attacked by one of the geese(think it was a geese) she has a 6 month old in her front pack. It bit or poked at her 4 times . Then I had to cross with a 3 yr old. I held my backpack in the way, so our 3yr old would be ok.

Also, when we got to the goats/deer/ donkey etc, a goat kept going at my 3 yr old grandson(he had a bag of food) I protected my grandson with my body/person the goat started ramming me. This was quite frightening for my g. Son, and to be honest, frightening for me. We scarpered . Got the heck out of there. So, hmmm love the place but, won’t be back in a hurry

I enjoyed this so much, a lovely experience - not too many tourists and plenty of animals.

Gorgeous cafe, a real authentic experience. Do not feed the pigs by hand though - we learnt the hard way!!

An Amazing place to take the family or even explore on your own.

Totally emersed within Nature. Had an absolute blast, and was totally cared for by the staff as soon as we arrived!!!

We took our three year old out to have birthday party out there and it was fantastic fun for them.

So much wildlife to interact with for kids, and it was pretty non threatening for the kids - nothing to get too scared of. It's a bit of a mission to get to, but worth it.
