Had the best time travelling in my sleeper van from Choice Campers!
The van ran really well, had all the essentials that you could need and was super affordable.
Milan and Matea’s customer service was awesome and they were super accommodating when I needed to change my drop off date and stuff.
Would 100% recommend Choice Campers and will definitely use them again when travelling in NZ 🤙🏼

These guys are the absolute best & we will be using their service again without a doubt!
There was no low-light with these guys! The highlights include excellent friendly customer service - all our needs & wants were catered for in the speediest & friendliest manner from the first point of contact til beyond when we returned home! They included free pick up & drop off from the airport (even organising a complimentary chauffeur cab service for our collection when needed). They gave us upfront the best quote plus no hidden costs or fees they were more than fair! Plus the camper we received was not only reliable but also fully stocked with all the utilities we needed to freedom camp in comfort. I have no hesitation recommending Choice Campers based on our experience - thanks Milan & Matea for making such a difference & giving us the best experience we could ever have dreamed of!

Since point A when Milan met us at the airport until point Z when he dropped us back there free of charge everything was perfect.
We enjoyed the van very much, it was clean, well converted and also nice to drive. Milan was very helpful and kind. If I would point out few things, three minors. When we got the car Milan did not know how much water was in the freshwater tank and did not know if the dirty water tank was empty, not a big issue. We did take care of it on the first petrol station. after some time I realized that both front tires were bold, with Milan over the phone we easily arranged for replacement along our way.

We were in the NZ for the first time.
Great experience which would not be so awesome without incredible hospitality and guidelines provided by Matea i Milan. The best-value-for-money with superb service is the formula madw the Choise Camper the best choice for NZ holidays. Huge thanks!

We were happy with the service and attentiveness to detail, for the most part, of Choice Campers.
They were very friendly and offered to pick us up and drop us off at the airport, which made life simpler. We were alarmed to see that the van had over 400,000kms on it and we were planning to drive to most parts of the South Island on very challenging roads. We were assured that the van was recently serviced and would be fine. We found out once we got back that the engine had been replaced and there was only about 100,000kms on it. That would have been nice to know before heading out :(. Anyway, the experience was overall a very positive one and we really enjoyed NewZealand very much. It was an affordable way to tour the country. Teresa and Bernard

I have to be honest - the only reason I rented from Choice Campers is because I waited too long to make my reservation and they were literally had the only available campervan for my needs and itinerary
. The van wasn't as fancy, spec-wise, as I had hoped but I decided it would be OK to "rough it". Fast forward to the end of my adventure and I am so grateful the other more fancy (and more expensive) campervans weren't available! I fell in love with the van, which was modest but totally perfect for my solo adventure (the van would also be perfect for a couple, btw). I drove it for 2 weeks between Auckland and Christchurch, and when it came time to drop it off I was begging Milan to let me keep it through my journey to Queenstown (it was already booked, unfortunately).
I can't say enough great things about the van - it was well maintained and very reliable. Since it's a converted minivan, it was easy to maneuver and was really helpful as I adjusted to driving on the other side of the car and the road. In the end, I was really grateful to not have blatant advertising splattered all over the vehicle (especially a woman traveling solo, it was important to me not to draw attention to myself). I also can't believe all the amenities that were included for free. There was more than enough bedding, camp chairs, a table, and the "kitchen" was fully stocked with everything I needed...including extra fuel canisters for the stove!
Milan and Matea were really easy to deal with and incredibly responsive whenever we corresponded. I felt confident that I was in good hands and that, if anything unexpected were to happen, they would be diligent and available to help me in whatever way possible. When I come back to New Zealand (and I will), Choice Campers will now be my preferred choice in campervan rental!
