Bungy - Toes over the edge, you’re about to leap from New Zealand’s only cliff-top Bungy! Experience the fun and thrills of the Taupō Swing – an exhilarating giant swing over the Waikato River!
Bungy - the cantilever platform positions you high out and over the crystal clear waters of the Waikato River – where you can jump solo or tandem with a friend. Choose to be dunked or go dry, however you take the plunge, this is an adrenalin-fuelled thrill you’ll never forget.
Swing - with speeds of up to 70kph, this full-on ride will have you soaring through the air before swooping out across the river. Swing solo – or with a friend, either way it’s something you’ll want to do again, and again, and again……
The Taupō Bungy Centre is FREE to visit so bring your support entourage too! There’s plenty of free parking onsite.

Perfect location and the staff know how to handle all kinds of people. The only negative thing is that the pictures are too expensive.

Don't miss this place even if you don't want to do bungy - the view is spectacular and you can watch others jumping down, which is fun.

Great little bungy over the river.
Couple of options to miss/kiss or dunk in the water below. Definitely recommend.

Drive to the east side of Taupo until there is a curve where there are a lot of cars.
Park there and walk down to the cliffs. The jump is phenomanal!

The last two seconds before your jump you will be gazing at the Waikato River below until you feel its cold water right at your nose.

The area is nice for the view, the reception of girls is nice but more commercial.
At the jump a lot. An expensive attraction for a minimum service. I know what I'm talking I jumped all over the world -;)

I got my jump on special for $60 instead of $150 which was pretty good, but then I still had to pay $80 for my photos and DVD, that sucks.
