The most expensive park we stayed at during our visit however well worth the price, the facilities were top notch.
The bar/restaurant was great and loved my time there

Wonderful place to stay in Milford Sound!
Expensive but great deal with cruise. Surroundings are amazing (great stargazing) and the campsite itself has many trees. Cosy communal room, many toilets and showers rooms which are kept warm. The restaurant on site is very tempting, they did a great job in decorating it, it feels very cozy. We didn’t eat dinner there but enjoyed the happy hour at the bar and the hot snack we took was simple but delicious.
Nice efforts done on zero waste. Lunch box (to book at the reception) for the cruise was cool and had good products in it!

Super site.
Yes it is more expensive than most but it is worth it, especially if you have an early morning activity on the Sound. As other reviews have said, the sites are a bit like being in a maze with individual areas surrounded by trees/bushes. Not sure what they would be like for bigger motor homes but it was perfect for our small van. Didn’t eat in the restaurant, as it was a little expensive for our budget but we did treat ourselves to a tasty gin and tonic. Food we saw looked good. The site has excellent facilities. Plenty of showers/toilets, a good sized kitchen and a comfortable loung and dining area. This was brilliant to keep away from the sandflies.

Set in the pretty rainforest of Milford Sound and your only option to stay, but quite pricey as well.
We booked a powered site and I appreciated the forest growth between us and our neighbors. Bathroom facilities were clean but one lacked toilet paper. Couch area and kitchen were nice. Wifi did not work at my campervan site but did work in the reception building. We didn't do dinner there but did have breakfast. The mouseli bowls were delicious and beautiful.

This is a cozy campground with individual parking bays surrounded by bush for campervans.
Not all of them were open - some looked as if they require maintenance. Note that there is no mobile data connection for Spark and One and 500 MB free WiFi only works in the amenities building. Yes there is no shortage of sandflies.

Campsites are surrounded by bush for a little privacy. The restaurant/cafe is excellent, as are the staff.

Absolutely love this place!
The drive up here from Te Anau and nearby cruise (I did Southern Discoveries' wildlife one) around Milford Sound were incredible.
The campervan site itself is a really cute little maze of gravel spaces in the jungly landscape with incredible views all around, and there's a nice little lodge nearby with a big lounge, kitchen, laundry, and about a dozen toilets and showers. Was a little busy when I came in May, but it was also pouring down the whole time so no wonder everyone wanted to hang out inside.
No phone signal (on Spark at least) but they had wifi, although with heavy rain it was on and off the whole time. I didn't go to the restaurant but the cafe was nice and didn't seem overpriced like I thought it would be.

10/10.
Worth the cost. You need to stay at least a night if heading all the way to Milford Sound. The campsite has a beautiful forest, adorable Wekas everywhere. The indoor cooking and relaxing space is great - loads of toilets and showers. We splashed out on a meal at the lodge and had the vegan dishes - expensive but a nice treat.
You can walk to the boat tour dock from this campsite. There is a small coastal/forest trail which in the rain does slightly flood, we walked safely along the road. Parking in town was upwards of $20, there is limited free parking and you’d still need to walk 20 minutes to the boats.

The most picturesque site we stayed at surrounded by extremely steep cliffs and thick rainforest.
It’s the only option for a campervan in the Milford Sound however it did not disappoint. The kitchen area was large and clean and the shower and toilet blocks were spotless and seemed like they were being constantly cleaned.
Very limited WiFi available in the reception and common areas, enough to send a message but download some TV before heading out. Sandflies were not an issue and the Wekas around camp were very cute.
There is not actually much to do in the area other than the tours, so bare that in mind when planning how many nights to stay.
Vegan options at the restaurant were great.

$120 for 2 adults powered campsite.
Very expensive. Facilities are very clean and well equipped but the Restaurant was closed and you had to pay for wifi. After $120 it should be included. Only campsite in Milford sound area. Would recommend travelling in on day of cruise.

Stunning location and architecturally beautiful buildings.
The campervan lots have been designed in such a way that there is privacy from one another. The facilities were wonderful, hot showers, clean areas, and large communal kitchen.

The place is beautiful BUT we were in selfcontain campervan, there is no other choice of camping for the night, this is expensive (70$ for 2 adults), you have to pay wifi (no network) and for it you have
to stay at the réception, only one facility (shower, toilet, kitchen, laundry) if you are park away you will make sandflies happy.

We ate dinner at the restaurant which was incredible. Very pricy campsite but I guess that's what you pay for the location
