The staff are your saving grace.
They were all amazing. Our room was not good. No soap in the shower, fly poo and dirty black marks everywhere.
Light that didn't work. Toilet with a black ring around the water line. Bits of stuff on the carpet. Didn't seem ready for guests. I wouldn't live like that so paying $195 a night was a shock. The hot pools cost extra. Such a shame.

The price was okay. And they had different pools (different temperatures). Even big waterslides for kids.

Excellent to relax for a day. Water slides are surprisingly fast!

A great experience, pools of different temperatures, nicely laid out with attractive shrubs and trees, - a simple place for excellent enjoyment.
And a discount if you stay at the motor home site.

We loved this place as it had lovely hot pools to swim in and great kitchen facilities.
Laundry was cheap to do here too.

When in NZ you should visit this pools, we got discount with our moterhome so paid only 10$ for 1 day unlimited a person.

For $15 it's worthwhile, several different pools at different temperatures.
The waterslide was very good fun especially the bendy part at the end.
We were slightly disappointed there wasn't more pools..... until we discovered the private spa pools, no extra cost just leave a deposit (e.g. keys) and you have your own spa pool at your choice of temperature (38-42c) - I think most people miss the private pools so well worth checking them out.

After reading the reviews thought this would be great, v.v disappointed, the whole place seemed quite grubby and in need of a good clean, expensive too.
We have a 3 and 6 year old and the pools were just too hot for them, we only lasted 30mins! For us a waste of time and money!

We love this place and come whenever we can.
Don't be put off by the negative below - we've always found it spotless. We know the pools are emptied and scrubbed every night because we've been asked to pull the plug out on them at the end of an evening! There are several pools and they are all of differing temperatures so you can find one to suit, the private pools have their temperatures written on the door so you can choose the one that best suits. So that's that out of the way. The accommodation is great - new and modern and well cleaned. The staff are friendly and really keen to make your stay a pleasant one. It's just a great place. We'll be coming back a lot!

GHreat place to stay and take the family.
Really clean kitchen and bathrooms, has everything there and the service was so friendly and helpful. Would recomend to friends and family

This place was superb.
Genuine hot pools not like the tepid baths heated by LPG at Franz Josef. If you care about your planet go to genuine hot pools like this. Well done and your staff are so nice!!! We will come again in 2013.

Camp fee includes big discount on spa - a 'must do' is the private hut mineral pool!!
